FAQ
How does it work exactly?
You ask a question in everyday language. The model interprets that question and calls functions that build the related charts and maps. It does not analyze the data itself. The functions query the dataset and return the result.
What types of questions can be answered?
Questions that can be answered with statistics, charts, plots, and maps on the provided datasets. For example: “What is the average groundwater nitrate concentration by region?”, “Plot nitrate levels against livestock density.”, or “Map the regions with the highest nitrate pollution (top quartile).” More advanced analysis, such as anomaly detection, forecasting, or machine learning, is not available yet. It is planned for future versions.
How do I know that the process is correct?
While indeed LLMs can hallucinate, the results are always based on the dataset and you can also download the results associated with each answer. Additionally, the code that answers the question is shown. You can read that code and check it against the chart or map.
Can I embed the chat in my own website?
Yes. Publish the chat, paste the snippet into your site, and add your site address to the allowed websites. Visitors can ask questions there without a manteo.ai account. The chat only uses the datasets you published.
Can I use my own large language model?
Yes. The process can use any model, but results (time, cost, accuracy) may differ across models.
Can this solution be deployed in a different cloud?
Yes, Manteo can be deployed on any cloud provider.
Can I bring my own datasets or connect this to my database?
Yes. Most dataset formats are already covered, and we can support database connections. Please talk to us for any special requirements.
